About us

UN Global Compact Network Lebanon (UNGC Lebanon)
is one of 69 Local Networks operating under a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UN Global Compact Headquarters. As an independent and self-managed entity, UNGC Lebanon supports local UN Global Compact participants through direct engagement and guidance from HQ.
UNGC Lebanon was launched in September 2015 and initially hosted at the American University of Beirut (AUB). In 2018, a legal entity was established for the sole purpose of hosting UNGC Lebanon’s Secretariat and the MOU with the UN Global Compact was updated reflecting this new hosting arrangement.
